At Celestial Pet Care, we believe microchipping should be accessible, affordable, and stress-free for both pets and owners. That’s why we provide a low-cost, fully DEFRA-compliant service carried out with the same love and care we give to our own animals

The Law

  • All dogs must be microchipped by 8 weeks of age.

  • All cats must be microchipped by 20 weeks of age (as of June 2024).

  • Failure to comply may result in a £500 fine.

While the law currently covers dogs and cats, microchipping is also strongly recommended for rabbits, ferrets, and other small animals, as it’s the most reliable way to reunite them with you if they are lost or stolen.
